About the Author

Héctor Jiménez was born in Zaragoza, Spain, and has dual Spanish-U.S. citizenship. Having spent half his youth in Spain before settling in the United States, he maintains a deep connection to his homeland and returns often. An avid lover of the outdoors, he finds peace in nature and exploration.

He has walked the Camino Francés three times, each journey deepening his appreciation for the landscapes, history, food, and the camaraderie of fellow pilgrims. Inspired by these experiences, he wrote his first book, Flowers of the Camino Francés, a guidebook that delves into the beauty, folklore, and significance of the flowers encountered along the pilgrimage route.

Héctor currently resides in Colorado, where he continues to explore and share his passion for history, travel, and the Camino experience.
